Message: I never met David, knew him only as Talus Monkey through the posts he shared with everyone. It's clear he was the kind of guy who brought diverse people together. We could use a whole lot more people like that in this day and age. To lose even one is very sad.

I lived vicariously through all your adventures from spring break in Key West, to 2 career changes in the Black Hills, to trips to the Czech Republic, to your recent exploits on the Mountains of Colorado. I'll never have a friend like you. Cheers to you for living life on your conditions rather than life's conditions and never compromising your values and morals even if they were a bit eccentric! Go forth on the next great adventure and know that there are many friends & family who will not forget you.
